Dutch Architects 3D Print Canal House

(noord) Millions of visitors come to Amsterdam every year to see the canals and their illustrious Golden Age houses on the ‘Gouden Bocht’. Soon, tourists will be flocking to North Amsterdam for a very different sight: the building of a canal house by a 3D printer. DUS Architects have given themselves the task of being the first to build a house using the world’s largest portable 3D printer. The ‘Kamermaker’ is a large silver metal tower containing a huge 3D printer. It is now on the ‘building site’ on the Buiksloter Canal.
